Good morning! The top three crowds (by a considerable margin) for the first set of group matches at the Copa America were for Argentina, Brazil and Colombia from South America, not the U.S. market’s traditional home teams, the USMNT and Mexico’s El Tri. The most impressive atmosphere of the tournament to date was at Houston’s NRG Stadium with a sea of Colombian fans in yellow for yesterday’s Colombia-Paraguay game (a 5 p.m. kickoff!). It reminds us just how incredible the demand will be for tickets in two years when the United States co-hosts the World Cup.
