Jose Nunez, who served as Barcelona president in 1978-2000, started his prison sentence on Sunday after being convicted of bribing tax inspectors. The 83-year-old Nunez was foundguilty of having bribed tax inspectors by a court in 2011 in a case that did not involve Barcelona FC. Nunez is famous for signing former Barca player Johan Cruyff as coach. The Dutchgreat guided Barcelona to its first European Cup in 1992 and four straight Spanish league titles.
