Inter Milan on Thursday confirmed that it has agreed a deal with Bayern Munich over the transfer of Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri. The deal is believed to be in the region of 15million euros ($17.8 million) and will be completed once the player passes a medical and agrees to personal terms. According to the Guardian, Shaqiri will initially arrive on loan until the endof the season, after which time the Serie A club will be obliged to make the move permanent. The 23-year-old will be coach Roberto Mancini’s second signing of the January transfer window,following the arrival of forward Lukas Podolski from Arsenal last weekend.
