Philadelphia Union signed U.S. international Maurice Edu to a multi-year deal, making his move from Stoke City permanent after originally joining the Unionprior to the 2014 season on loan.
 
Edu, 28, started 31 games and adding three goals and two assists en route to being named to the MLS All-Star Team. Edu ranked third on the team inminutes played (2789) and scored the Union’s lone goal in the U.S. Open Cup final against Seattle Sounders FC.
