In a lineup of mostly usual suspects, Wales will be joined by Romania in appearing in pot one of seven pots that will determine the groups forqualifying for Russia 2018. Wales secured its place as one of the seeds with a 1-0 win against Belgium on Friday, while Romania secured its place with a 0-0 draw at Northern Ireland. The pair’srise comes at the expense of France, which will appear in pot two, and either Italy or Croatia, depending on how the Azzurri fare in Tuesday’s friendly against Portugal. The draw for 2018qualifying will take place on July 25.
