Jamaica defeated the USA, 2-1, to move into the Gold Cup finalfor the first time. Goals by MLS players Darren Mattocks and Giles Barnes gave the Reggae Boyz a 2-0 halftime lead.Michael Bradley scored three minutes into the second half, but the USA could not get an equalizer. The loss dropped theUSA into the Gold Cup third-place game, which will be held on Saturday, for the first time since 2003. It had played in five straight finals, the longest streak by any country in Gold Cuphistory.
