Austria booked its place at Euro 2016 with a comprehensive 4-1 win against Sweden in Stockholm on Tuesday, giving the visitor an unassailable lead in Group G qualifying with two games still toplay. The last time Austria qualified directly for a major international tournament was the 1998 World Cup, also held in France. Sweden, meanwhile, slipped to third in the group after suffering asecond-straight defeat, while Russia rose to second thanks to its 7-0 win in Lichtenstein. Fourth-place Montenegro moved to within one point of the Swedes with a 2-0 win at Moldova.
