One of the most hyped players of his generation but ultimately a flop on the U.S. U-17 World Cup team, Haji Wright appears set to join German club Schalke 04 when he turns 18, Metro New Yorkreported. He had previously trained at Schalke but FIFA rules prevented the club from signing him. He signed last season with the NASL’s New York Cosmos but was released after making just threeappearances. He had played in the LA Galaxy academy program before enrolling in U-17 Residency.
