The Chicago Fire won its first game on the road since July 2014 when it beat the Montreal Impact. 3-0. The bottom three teams in the overall MLS standings all won on the road. The Columbus Crewdefeated the New England Revolution, 2-0, while the Houston Dynamo won its first away game of the year with a 1-0 win at the San Jose Earthquakes.
