West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis was ordered by the British High Court to pay former club Crystal Palace more than $4.5 million in damages for leaving the club at the start of the2014-15 season. The dispute concerned Palace’s payment of a bonus for keeping it in the EPL and staying at the club at the start of the next season. He asked for an early payment of the bonus — andthen quit the next day.
