Bobby Rhine, who played nine seasons with FC Dallas and later worked as a color commentator, died Monday night of an apparent heart attack in Florida, wherehe was vacationing with his family. Rhine, who is survived by his wife Beven and two children, was 35.

He then worked for the club in communityrelations and as a commentator on team broadcasts. “He was so valuable to the team and franchise that he was the rare career player for this one team despite multiple coaching changes,” according toCarrick.
