
Henry Brauner is the VP of Player Development of the Seattle Sounders Academy, whose U-17 team, coached by Academy Director Steve Cooke, won the Generation adidas Cup in April. Raised in Tucson, Arizona, Brauner played at Pima Community College in Arizona and then for Worcester State. He also played for the Philippines youth national teams and was capped with the full team in a 2007 friendly. Brauner’s first encounter with the MLS academy play came when he coached at Real Salt Lake’s in 2014 under the tutelage of Martin Vazquez.
