The Philadelphia Union reached an agreement with German club Eintracht Frankfurt for  19-year-old Paxten Aaronson’s transfer. Included are what it termed a multi-million-dollar transfer fee,  additional performance-based bonuses and a percentage of any future transfer fees for Aaronson, Brenden Aaronson’s young brother. In his two seasons with the Union, he scored four goals in 37 matches. He won the Golden Ball and Golden Boot in leading the USA to the 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship that qualified the USA for the 2023 U-20 World Cup and 2024 Olympics.
