[MLS AWARDS] The Los Angeles Galaxy’s David Beckham won the 2011 MLS Comeback Player of the Year award, edging D.C.United’s Charlie Davies. Beckham is the first foreigner to win the award.
Beckham was limited to seven games in 2010 as he was recoveringfrom an Achilles’ tendon tear suffered at AC Milan.
