An All-American goalkeeper at Davis & Elkins in 1970, Bill Nuttall enjoyed a short career as a professional player before moving into the coaching, marketing and business aspects of thegame. He was general manager of the U.S. national team during the leadup to 1994 World Cup and worked for more than a decade for Diadora before retiring to live in Chattanooga.
