As the Director of Mexico’s national teams, Dennis te Kloese oversees a scouting department that has three full-time scouts in the USA. A Netherlands native, he had previouslyserved as the director of Mexico’s youth national teams during a period when Mexico won the men’s gold medal at the 2012 Olympics (a U-23 competition) and reached the U-17 Men’s World Cup semifinalstwice. Most recently, Mexico cruised through 2018 World Cup qualifying play and its women won the 2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship. Te Kloese, who upon arriving in Mexico in 2003 became ChivasGuadalajara’s scouting director, spent three years as Chivas USA’s Director of Soccer (2005-08).
