1. U.S. national team defender Reggie Cannon has signed a four-year contract extension with FC Dallas. The 21-year-old Cannon is aHomegrown product and signed with FC Dallas in 2017 after one season at UCLA. He is starting at right back for his third MLS season. Yahoo Sports reported that thenew contract includes a release clause for Cannon, who has 11 U.S. caps. His previous deal was set to expire at the end of the 2020 season. According to the MLS Players Association 2019 players salarysurvey, Cannon earned $80,250 in guaranteed compensation.
