Golden Eagles make it 13 in a row

[VIDEO PICK: Marquette-DePaul women] No. 6 Marquette defeated DePaul, 2-0, on goals from Taylor Madigan and Ann Marie Lynch to claim its second Big East championship in as many years on Sunday at Valley Fields. The win was Golden Eagles’ 13th consecutive victory of theseason.

Marquette’s Mary Luba was named the Outstanding Offensive Player, while teammate Emily Jacobsontook Outstanding Defensive Player honors. They were joined on the all-tournament team by teammates Maegan Kelly and AmandaEngel.
