The Houston Dynamo will team up with the Charleston Battery as its USL PRO affiliate in 2015. In 2014, the Dynamo partnered with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, while the Battery worked with the VancouverWhitecaps, who have since formed their own USL PRO club to be based out of the University of British Columbia.
The partnership will enable the Dynamo to loan approximately fourMLS-contracted players to Charleston for the 2015 USL PRO season. In 2014, the Dynamo loaned five players at various times to the Riverhounds. The Battery used nine ‘Caps players during the 2014 USLPRO campaign.
