[DANONE NATIONS CUP] Jacksonville FC will represent the United States in November at the Danone Nations Cup world finals in Brazil after qualifying at the DisneyMemorial Day Soccer Shootout.
Jacksonville FC entered the Disney Memorial Day Soccer Shootout as a huge underdog but dominated over the three-day event, scoring 19 goals and winningall six of its games, including a 1-0 shutout in the championship game to punch its ticket to Sao Paulo.
Following the 1998 World Cup in France, Danone decided to create an internationaltournament. The Danone Nations Cup features U-12 teams from 32 countries.
