MLS’s Independent Review Panel rescinded the fine and one-game suspension of Houston Dynamo midfielder Jermaine Taylorfor his red card for a handball call that resulted in SportingKansas City’s third goal of last weekend’s 4-4 tie.

Taylor, who said after the game of referee Kevin Stott’s call, “It never hit my arm. We watched it in thecoach’s office with the coaching staff and it was clear it was not a handball,” will now be able to play against FC Dallas on Friday.

In Week 8 decisions from the MLS Disciplinary Committee, Sporting Kansas City midfielder Servando Carrasco has been suspended one game and fined anundisclosed amount for violent conduct in the 52nd minute of the same game and both teams were found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.

Real Salt Lake midfielder JohnStertzer received a one-game suspension and fined for serious foul play in the 10th minute of RSL’s game against New England.

Toronto FC defender Damien Perquiswas fined for simulation in the 83rd minute of Toronto’s game against Orlando City.

The Vancouver Whitecaps and D.C. United were found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy inthe eighth minute of their game.

  1. So, ¿¿¿ Where do we get our 2 points back, when we Don’t make the Play-offs??? It took 5 minutes for Ref to sort it out.. Replay from HQ in NY,(like Baseball) could have cleared up in 10 seconds..Fielhaber Tying Gol was scored in 6th minute of extra time, with us playing a man down AND a additional PK Goal, that should have never been given…So maybe KC makes the Playoffs by 1 point and someone else doesn’t… The whole league is now Screwed Up!!!
