[MLS] The U.S. and Canadian summer transfer window closed Sunday night but not before the Los Angeles Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes signed Designated Players.The Galaxy hopes the signing of Irish international Robbie Keane will propel it an MLS title that has eluded it since 2005, while Ecuadoran Edmundo Zura provides a boost for the San Jose Earthquakes’ depleted attack at a moment their playoff hopes are quickly fading.
