New England and San Jose played to a 0-0 tie in the first midweek game of the 2017 MLS season. Both teams had their chances but goalkeepers David Bingham and Cody Cropper combined tomake eight saves. The tie ended the Revs’ home winning streak at six games. The point was the first of the season for the Quakes on the road.
