Good morning! There are no NWSL games for the next five weeks — the so-called Olympic break — but that doesn’t mean that the league’s 14 teams will be idle. They will join six Liga MX Femenil teams in competing in the new Summer Cup, which kicks off tonight with two games. Play in a second new international competition begins on Aug. 20 when the San Diego Wave, one of three NWSL entrants, travels to Panama’s Santa Fe FC in the start of group play in the Concacaf W Champions League.
