Good morning! Inter Miami’s preseason tour continues tonight when FC Dallas welcomes the Herons to the Cotton Bowl. It’s the second of seven games in five different countries Inter Miami has arranged to show off Lionel Messi before the 2024 MLS season begins on Feb. 21. The tour is unprecedented by MLS standards but nothing compared to the touring the New York Cosmos did at their height. In 1978-80, they played 85 friendlies over three seasons. After the 1978 NASL season, they spent almost three months on tour, playing 22 games in 12 different countries.
