Good morning! This is the summer when the countdown to the 2026 World Cup begins for the USMNT with big games played before big crowds. On Saturday, it drew more than 55,000 fans at Commanders Field, the largest crowd for a U.S. friendly on the East Coast since 2012, featuring thousands of Colombian fans decked out in yellow. They loved the afternoon, singing “USA, Colombia es tu papá!” as the Cafeteros rolled to a 5-1 win. Wednesday should see more of the same, at least in the stands. Orlando has been a favorite home for the USMNT, but it will play Brazil at 60,000-seat Camping World Stadium (not 25,500-seat INTER&Co Stadium). Close to a sell-out crowd is expected, again boosted by huge support for the visiting team. Central Florida is home to thousands of Brazilian immigrants and a popular destination for Brazilian tourists.
