Good afternoon! The European Championship kicks off tomorrow in Germany, the start of a month packed with international soccer that gets busier next week when the Copa America begins. Euro 2024 all morning and afternoon, and the Copa America in the evening. Especially when it was smaller, the European Championship produced some great winners (Germany in 1972 and France in 1984), but it generated little media interest and was hardly covered on U.S. television. That has changed as the Euros have become must-watch soccer viewing.
