
Good morning! Soccer has had its share of crazy stories over the last 24 hours. Canada, the defending gold-medalist in women’s soccer, was caught using drones to spy on New Zealand in France. The opening game of the men’s soccer competition wasn’t decided until a VAR decision was confirmed 90 minutes after the match ended. And out of Concacaf last night came news that the U.S. and other teams competing in the U-20 men’s championship were moved from Celaya – Mexico’s most violent city – to Leon following the murder of a police officer outside the team hotel.
