Good morning! SA readers will know Kevin Egan as the host of the MLS 360 whip-around show this season on Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass. In his interview with SA’s Arlo Moore-Bloom, Egan tells the story of how he broke into television in his native Ireland. It is a great story about how to break into any field. He happened to obtain the contact info on the staff of a politics show and started calling. “Hey, I got your number off of the show, I’d like to potentially make your tea.” He started out just pouring tea and coffee. “But once you get your foot in the door,” he added, “you can start moving up.”
