Good morning! When FIFA organizes the 2026 World Cup, it will set up perimeters a sufficient distance from stadiums to hopefully avoid the problems at Sunday’s Copa America final, where fans without tickets crashed the Hard Rock Stadium gates. But it won’t escape another condition that soccer fans lining up to enter the stadium endured in Miami, and that was the extreme heat. As FIFA organizes security to get fans safely into stadiums (some of them domed stadiums), it will have to be prepared to care for fans outside with water and medical care to avoid the scary incidents of fans suffering from heat exhaustion and fainting that took place around Hard Rock Stadium.
