Today’s Barcelona-Paris St. Germain match in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals will feature Lamine Yamal, 16, and Pau Cubarsí, 17, for Barcelona and Warren Zaire-Emery, 18, for PSG. Yamal is already starting for the Spanish national team. Cubarsi was rated the best player on the field for the first leg of the Barca-PSG series (3-2 for Barca in Paris). And Zaire-Emery has already started for the French national team. They are among a new generation of teens breaking through on some of the world’s top teams. Perhaps the most exciting youngster is 17-year-old Brazilian Endrick whom U.S. fans should see this summer at the Copa America.
