Futbol de Primera Radio, which holds Spanish-language rights to the World Cup, the Copa Centenario and Mexican national team matches, reached a multiyear agreement with Univision Radio to broadcast ontop-rated FM stations in key markets, including New York, Chicago, Dallas, San Diego and Austin.

Beginning Sunday, Univision radio stations will also broadcast FDP’s Sunday show andthe daily show featuring Emmy award-winning broadcaster Andres Cantor, are Andres Cantor.
 
“With this agreement, FDP’s programming is carried in more than 100affiliates,”  said Futbol de Primera chairman Alejandro Gutman, “making FDP Radio the leading Hispanic radio network in terms of reach, and exclusive content with the best nationalratings. This shows that there is still a big appetite for radio consumption and as we start getting ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, we are now in a position to say we will have an even betternetwork than in the 2010-2014 period.”
 
Futbol de Primera is the exclusive rights holder of all FIFA properties until 2022. Its Daily Show and Sunday Show have been on the air since1989, making them the longest-running, nationally syndicated Spanish-language radio programs in the country.
