The Houston Dynamo’s Erick Torres is the only current MLS player competing in the Olympic men’s soccer competition, where he will represent Mexico. His Mexican teammate Carlos Salcidopreviously played for Real Salt Lake, while Dane Emil Larsen recently left Columbus after a half season in MLS. Honduran Elder Torres plays for RSL’s Real Monarchs in the USL.
