Nigeria’s Super Falcons ended their sit-in protest at a hotel in Abuja after being paid money owed to them for winning the 2016 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The protest, which began on Dec. 6, endedwhen the Nigerian government released about $1.2 million to the cash-strapped Nigerian Fooftball Federation to pay the women.
