"I know that everyone who shoots up fast, must also come down with a hard bang. I am only 19 years old and no exception to that rule."

-- American defender Neven Subotic keeps things in perspective after scoring three crucial goals - including two gamewinners - in Borussia Dortmund's first four games of the Bundesliga season. Subotic, who played for the USA at the 2005 U-17 World Cup, was born in what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina and immigrated to Germany when he was 2. He moved to the USA in 1999. The German soccer federation hopes to prove him eligible to play for its national team. (AFP)
