[SCOREBOARD] The visiting Chicago Fire came back from 2-0 down at the half to tie the San Jose Earthquakes, 2-2, and win the shootout, 5-4, to advance to the round of 16 of the U.S. Open Cup as one of the two MLS play-in winners.

The Fire played the last 22 minutes of overtime with 10 men after Gonzalo Segares was red carded.
