There will be not one but two soccer news shows debuting on national television in August.
ESPN2’s daily soccer studioshow, ESPN FC, will air Monday-Friday 5:30-6 p.m. ET and Sundays at midnight ET, beginning Aug. 11.
FOX Sports announced Wednesday that it will launch FOX Soccer Daily weekdays on its newFOX Sports 1, beginning Aug. 19 at 4-4:30 p.m. ET.
“Given our overall programming commitment to international soccer and global reach,” said FOX Soccer Daily executive producer
FOX Soccer Daily will originate from the FOX Network Center in Los Angeles. It won’t be the FOX Soccer Report that originates in Toronto and currently airs on FOXSoccer, which will go off the air at the end of the summer.
HBO TAKES ON CHIVAS USA CHARGES. Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, HBO’s investigativesports show, will examine the charges that Chivas USA owner Jorge Vergara ordered changes at the club that were allegedly intended to benefit only those ofMexican heritage.

The show will air on HBO for the first time on Tuesday at 10-11 p.m. ET/PT. Other air dates will follow on HBO, HBO2 and HBO on Demand.
