The New York Red Bulls have transferred midfielder Frankie Amaya to Liga MX’s Toluca for a transfer fee The Athletic reported would be in the range of $4 million.

Amaya, 23, has spent the last four seasons with the Red Bulls after joining them from FC Cincinnati and helped them qualify for the playoffs all four years. He spent two seasons with FC after he was the No. 1 overall selection in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
