Tuesday AM: U.S. Olympic men also growing on confidence; Canada appeals spying penalty

Good morning! The USA plays Guinea today in St. Etienne for a berth in the Olympic men’s soccer knockout stage. Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium, which opened in 1930, has already been the venue for some of the 2024 Olympics’ most dramatic games: Morocco vs. Argentina, then Ukraine vs. Morocco on the men’s side and Canada’s comeback wins over New Zealand and France in women’s soccer.
