American midfielder Freddy Adu lined up for a reserve game with English Championship (second division) club Blackpool against Rochdale on Tuesday. According to The Gazette, themuch-traveled 24-year-old played the first half of the 3-3 draw but was taken off at halftime. Adu has been training with Blackpool since early February and has been without a club following hisrelease by Brazilian club Bahia in November.
