USA-TEAM EXPRESS:
March 23 in Inglewood, California
USA 1 Canada 2. Goals: Agyemang 35; Oluwaseyi 27, David 59.
The USA finished fourth in the Concacaf Nations League with 2-1 loss to Canada on Sunday. Coach Mauricio Pochettino‘s team may have managed to score — unlike in its 1-0 semifinal loss to Panama — but Patrick Agyemang‘s goal marked the USA’s only good chance. Particularly concerning about the USA’s performances in both games: It looks like a team that’s easy to defend against.

GOALKEEPER
Matt Turner, after slipping to the ground, recovered to punch a Ismaël Koné shot that deflected off Weston McKennie in the goal area as Derek Cornelius lunged for it. His only other tests came on the two goals — from shots he wouldn’t be expected to reach. Turner passed the ball out of bounds in the second half without pressure, another example of the USA making life easy on its opponent.
