The U.S. men’s national team is coming off a highly successful international window during which it won all four of its friendlies to begin the new cycle.
The recurring theme was the pivotal role played by a new generation of young players in each victory. In total, 12 players age-eligible for the 2028 Olympic team earned their first cap during the window. Seven of the team’s 12 goals were scored by teenagers.
