[REACTION] The day after Ghana, the hope of African soccer, lost a heart-breaking decision to Uruguay in the quarterfinals of the World Cup, its players visitedNelson Mandela. Update: Meanwhile, FIFA’s disciplinary committee decided to give Luis Suarez a one-gamesuspension.
Suarez, whose handball on the line prevented a sure goal and saved Uruguay when Asamoah Gyan missed the ensuing penalty kick, will sitout Uruguay’s semifinal game against the Netherlands in Cape Town on Tuesday.

I think there should a rule change here. If a ball is going into the goal and is handled and stopped by a field player then a goal should be awarded provided the ball was certainly going into the net.The player should also be red carded. This will ensure the field players play the ball fairly.Awrding a penalty reverses a sure goal if the penalty kick does not go in as was in Ghana’s case, and is not a fair practice.

Asamoah I feel for you buddy. It is the greatest game in the world, but it is just a game. I hope and pray nothing horrible happens to you. Raveen seriously I would have done the same thing as Suarez no question and the one game suspension is the correct decision.
