[AMERICANS ABROAD] Rubio Rubin had to wait until he turned 18 in March to be eligible to sign with FC Utrecht. Then he hadto wait until the opening of the summer transfer window on July 1. Now, a mild concussion and broken nose suffered last weekend has set him back, but the young American forward does finally have acontract: a four-year contract with the Dutch Eredivisie club. He is the fifth player from his 2013 U-17 national team class to sign with a foreign club.
