USC Upstate’s Gordon Wild, the NCAA Division I men’s leading scorer with 12 goals, and Utah State keeper Jeannie Wollerwere named the NSCAA College Players of the Week. For all the honorees from the week of Sept. 14-20.
Wild scored his second hat trick of the year in a comeback win over Winthrop,and addedtwo goals, including the game-winner, in a win over Gardner-Webb. Wild’s five goals extended his scoring streak to five matches in a row.
Woller helped Utah State to a 2-0 road winat Utah with a career-best 13 saves, the most by an Aggie goalkeeper since 2008. The Aggies earned their fifth shutout of the season and first-ever win at Ute Field.
