Gary Neville on Wednesday was appointed head coach of La Liga giant Valencia until the end of the season. The former Manchester United defender had been working as an England coach andaward-winning analyst for Sky Sports since retiring as a player in 2011. This will be his first head coaching position. His brother, Phil Neville, was last week namedco-caretaker following Nuno’s decision to step down as coach. In addition to coaching Valencia, Gary will continue to assist Roy Hodgson’s England squad prepare for Euro2016.
