A 22-yard half-volley by Californian Joe Corona for Mexico’s Club America in Concacaf Champions League play was named the region’s top goal of 2018. Corona, who also helped ClubAmerica win the 2018 Liga MX Apertura title, hit the award-winner in a 4-0 win over Panama’s Tauro.
