Atlanta United signed 28-year-old Georgian international Saba Lobjanidze as its third Designated Player. The winger arrives from  Hatayspor in Turkey, where he has spent the last three and a half seasons. He has scored 15 goals in 120 games with MKE Ankaragucu, Fatih Karagumruk and Hatayspor. Lobjanidze joins the Five Stripes as their third DP along with Thiago Almada and Giorgos Giakoumakis following the transfer of Brazilian winger Luiz Araujo to Flamengo. He is the fourth summer import after a trio of French-based players: midfielder Tristan Muyumba (transfer from Ligue 2 Guingamp) and forwards Jamal Thiare (free transfer from promoted Ligue 1 Le Havre) and Xande Silva (on loan from Ligue 2 Dijon).
