• Inter Miami made 16-year-old midfielder Santiago Morales the seventh player from its academy it signed to a Homegrown contract. Morales, signed to a contract through 2027, is the son of former MLS star Javier Morales, who is a first-team assistant coach at Inter Miami. Three of the Herons’ young Homegrown players played for their national teams during the September international window: Benja Cremaschi (USA), Edison Azcona (Dominican Republic) and David Ruiz (Honduras).
