In 2010, Albertin Montoya coached one of women’s pro soccer’s most entertaining teams ever – the WPS championship-winning FC Gold Pride, which includedMarta, Christine Sinclair, Tiffeny Milbrett, Shannon Boxx, Kelley O’Hara and Rachel Buehler. Hewas, at the same time, coaching youth soccer at Northern California’s Mountain View Los Altos SC. Montoya continues to serve as director of the MVLA, whose girls compete in the ECNL and whosealums include current USA defender Abby Dahlkemper and Stanford’s Hermann Trophy winner Teresa Noyola, who represented Mexico at the 2011 and 2015 World Cups.
